Transfers from the airport to your resort island are either by boat, seaplane or domestic flight, depending on the distance. Local ferries shouldn’t cost more than $2-4 for a three hour journey. We paid $2 for the taxi ride from Male Airport to ferry terminal, $3 for the ferry from Male to Maafushi.
